The San Luis Bay Chapter of Surfrider Foundation is excited to announce the establishment of a monthly meeting starting this Friday, August 1st, and the first Friday of every month thereafter at SLO Down Pub on Grande Avenue in Arroyo Grande, 6pm. This meeting will serve as an opportunity for the community to discuss collectively ways to further protect our watersheds, oceans, waves, and beaches. The Chapter Board will review on-going campaigns, upcoming events, issues on the horizon, and opportunities to get involved.

Just got back from visiting Arroyo Laguna. What a great beach, and apparently a best kept secret. A pristine resource like that would be over-run here in the LA area! My wife insisted we 'tell nobody'. What do you think? Is that a good idea?

On Saturday June 28th we were at the William Randolph Hearst San Simeon beach and my nephew left his camera case with his video and Digital cameras in it next to the water faucet up on the gr#@*%!y picnic area. If any one turns it in to your office please call us at (559)597-2288. It had pictures that can never be replaced of his daughters birthday party and some pictures of that day at the beach.
